CAD Models - Custom Mount Bracket of the Trelino Evo Toilet

When being on the road or in the outback, there is always one or more desires to be fulfilled. One of which is to go to the toilet, even in rough terrain and under difficult conditions. When you do not want to dig a hole due to finish your business, you can choose a separations toilet which is very handy for this kind of overland travel. The liquid part can be disposed safely and the solid content can be disposed with the regular trash. This is safe and without leaving anything bad smelling behind, it safes the environment & the ground water and is hygienic.

For our business, we use this separation toilet from Trelino. Its great for overlanding and while enjoying nature and keeping the campground clean for the next traveler is important. This toilet works wonderful, without water and even in the most secluded places!

For keeping this box safely positioned on our Front Runner roof rack, I needed a new mount bracket adjusting to the slot positions of the rack. Even though, Front Runner states that the distance between the 9 mm T-slot for the M8 screw is exactly 200 mm - it is not. It can vary up to 205 mm. Therefore it was necessary to use long holes to account for any variations. Also, the mount bracket was made from 2 mm unalloyed steel.

Assembling the not yet powder-coated sheet metal to the Rack and seeing if the part fits well with the Trelino. Fits well, doesn't it?

Below ist the finished and powder-coated part. Looks great!

Finished and powder-coated sheet metal.

The bracket is made of regular, unalloyed steel and was finally powder-coated. You will need two of them and with the grey straps from Front Runner, the toilet can be fixed nicely to your Slimline II rack.

The toilet is fixed with two stretch straps which is more than sufficient. You can download the 3D models as well as the 2D sheet metal drawings below.
